Royal Copenhagen Miniplates
Royal Copenhagen Miniplates
Beautiful set of 4 two-tone, Royal Copenhagen 3" miniplates depicting various Danish settings and scenes.
Royal Copenhagen is a Danish porcelain manufacturer that was founded in 1775 by Queen Juliana Maria of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel-Bevern. According to company history, Juliane was adamant from the start that each piece of Royal Copenhagen porcelain be stamped with its unique factory mark: the three hand-painted waves that symbolize Denmark’s waterways, the ‘Oresund’ or Sound, the Great Belt and the Little Belt. This trademark can be found on the back of each miniplate, showing their authenticity.
These miniplates can be used in multiple ways, including as decoration or as a tray for jewelry or trinkets. They make wonderful gifts too!
