This 1940s edition of Christmas Stories by Charles Dickens is one of my favorite finds in this year's holiday collection. With the browned edges and aged vignette of its pages, the book exudes warmth. Three stories are told throughout 235 pages, including A Christmas Carol, The Chimes, and The Cricket on the Hearth, each with an illustrated cover page depicting a relevant image. The book embodies all that the holidays represent, and deserves to be well kept and well read for years to come!
