This trinket box is actually a collectible Estée Lauder product, dating from the 1980's or early 1990's. Beginning in 1970, Estée Lauder began creating unique promotional pieces to complement their holiday gift sets. The high-quality and well-designed boxes became so popular that the brand continued to release new collections each year, up until the 2000's. After that, Estée Lauder shifted its focus away from creating limited-edition porcelain boxes, though the tradition of creating special holiday packaging and gift sets has continued in different forms. This box is part of the ice palace collection, and was made in Japan. It's delicate gold details, heart-shaped design, and feminine edges offer a timelessness that would soften any space. It is in excellent condition, with no visible signs of wear, scratches, or chips.
Measures approximately 5in. wide and 2.5in. in height.
